LEO KOPACIN GEMENTI
Multimedia designer and researcher of interactive systems. In the early 90s he was founder of TAG, space for the production of contemporary art dedicated to emerging artists (TAG productions were exhibited at Museum Moderner Kunst Stiftung Ludwig, Wien, CCC, Tours, Musèe d’art contemporaine, Tulouse, Frac Languedo-roussilion, Montpellier, MUHKA, Antwerpen…). He was curator of Immagini d’Affezione (Images from Bauhaus up to today), Castello Monumentale, Lerici, Le Forme del Suono, Stazione Leopolda, Firenze, Eine Reise, Accademia di Francia, Napoli.
At the beginning of the Millennium he was among the founders of ezzthetic, studio for the design of Multimedia installations for Theatre, Music and Art (Productions for Mittlefest, Teatro La Fenice, Venezia, Festival Pasolini Teatro Colosseo, Roma, Auditorium Parco della Musica, Roma, EXPO 2015, Milano, CSS, Udine, Museum of Contemporary Art, Ljubljana, F-IRE, London…).
He was lecturer at università degli Studi, Udine, DAMS, Accademia di Francia, Napoli, Festival Lo Stato dell’ arte, Rovereto…
In the last decade he was among the founders of the multimedia practice ho1, working on the boundaries between design, art and science.
He is currently working on biofeedback systems investigating body data as means of creative expression.
